Confesiones del viento
For this musical siesta, Mandy Lerouge takes us to Argentina.
Far from Buenos Aires, to the north of the country, from the province of Misiones to that of Santiago del Estero, to the lands of the Guaraní people, the Quechuas and the gauchos, between red earth, majestic rivers, humid forest and wild pampas.
Where Mother Earth, the Pachamama, is the origin of every form of life.
Where Man and Nature are one, where every element has a soul.
From the jaguar to the hummingbird, from the river to the moon, from the tree to the wind, all have inspired the legends, poems and songs of Argentine folklore.
An invitation to travel, between poems by great Argentine authors (Alfonsina Storni, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Ramon Ayala) and traditional songs in Spanish and Guaraní.
An invitation to rest, to listen to the confidences of the wind, sipping a maté, in the shade of the Ombú, the solitary tree that shelters the gaucho and inspires the poet...
